The Managed Services Division (MSD) originated from the Technical & Maintenance unit of BIT. The Technical & Maintenance Unit was then restructured to become a Line of Business. The customer needs and BIT’s IT Infrastructure Services will be synchronies. This will give opportunity to MSD the flexibility to expand and nurture our SSO businesses opportunity. Initially the function of this unit was to install equipment, software and implement customize projects. MSD offerings will be enhancing to the coverage of warranty support for the all equipment delivered by BIT.
BIT foresees that outsourcing is a global trend and changing the way we work. In a decade, MSD had grown and have their very own capability and infrastructure of network centric solutions that consist of Network Operating Centre (NOC) and Security Operating Centre (SOC), BIT has looked forward to start their very own Shared Services Outsourcing (SSO) company to compete in the global market space with MSD.
MSD believe the benefits that will can help the industry in by promoting our Managed Services as a tools that can help companies during the global credit crunch issues to assist in four categories such as Organizational, Improvement, Financial/Cost, and Revenue. Strategic values include refocus on “innovation” and “core competencies” rather than secondary or minor activity. |
