BIT2020: Contract signing ceremony with EPF Learning Partners

7th Feb 2020, mark the day of collaboration between BIT Group Sdn Bhd and EPF Learning Campus.

BiT Group has been selected and appointed as EPF Learning Partners for Digital Awareness Workshop (DAW), a 2-year tenure of 10 workshop session in digital transformation.

Al-Itqan Academy has been appointed under BIT Group as training provider to conduct this workshops.

Another milestone achieved by Al-Itqan Academy for year 2020.

BIT Group with al-Itqan Academy Sdn Bhd were honoured last 7th February 2020 to sign the agreement of understanding with EPF Malaysia as a learning partner, together with Digicity. The signing ceremony took place at KWSP Headquarter, in Kuala Lumpur.

BIT 2020 Digital Transformation Townhall

Last 30th January 2020, BIT Group Sdn Bhd kicked off our flagship BIT2020: Digital Transformation Townhall where the staffs got together for the beginning of the year. The Group CEO also shared the overall wrapping up and reviews on 3-Year Business Strategic Plan (2017-2019), with another year in the books.

Some notable outcomes shared during the Townhall include the establishment of key digital products in Islamic Finance, Healthcare and Community Interest, additional with few new strategic partnerships; locally and globally and, continuous efforts and strategies towards digitalization of internal processes, business offerings, and spearheading the digital nation with IR4.0 technologies.

BIT New Year Staff Kickoff

15th January 2019 – ‘Driven by the Future’ has been the theme of our digital transformation journey and this year is the last lap in the Three-Year Strategic Business Plan.  2019 new year kickoff event in Cyberjaya, Chairman Hasbi Yaacob and other executives have together launched the new BIT website and BIT eWallet besides presenting out the latest five product segments and new initiatives.  More than 100 staffs attended the event, alongside all the board of directors event – where all of them were given RM 50 token in their new eWallet to be used in BIT Bazaar after the event.

Grateful and excited, in his New Year Message, Chairman Hasbi Yaacob shared his excitement with 2019 as he will be a part of the great efforts in spearheading towards the digital nation vision.  There are a lot of new initiatives lined up, ready for market such as BIT eWallet blockchain, the UAV and drone products. He challenged the staffs to achieve more for this year and not to lose sight of BIT priority: to be strong and financially sustainable companies that put the customer at the heart of everything we do.

BIT 2019 Staff Kickoff event also witnessed the launch of the new BIT website with all the new look and updated information, especially with the newest pages of IR4.0, Academy, and the three Product Segments: Digital Sehah, Digital Muamalah and Digital Ummah. The staff also had the experience to buy and sell with the new BIT eWallet in the BIT Bazaar. This eWallet marked the very first attempt by BIT to utilize blockchain and it looked like it was a great start.  

There were also five keynote presentations from the respective business owners towards the end of the event for them to share the latest progress and updates. The presentations were from Digital Muamalat Saadiqin, Big Data and Cloud, Digital Masjid, Digital Sehah Medica and ENNOVA.


BIT Celebrating Medan Tahfiz Students

11th January 2019 – BIT Group Sdn Bhd today announced to continue helping the tahfiz school students, including the ten tahfiz students from Medan today for visit. They are the students from Pondok Tahfidzul Quran Ar-Raudhah built by Yayasan Arraudhah as one of the BIT’s main Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) foundation initiatives in education.

In today’s event, we are humbled to be able to listen to the short tazkirah by Ustadz Abdul Hadi, the principal of the tahfiz school on the blessings of memorizing the Quran. We are also happy to listen to the beautiful Quran recitation by brother Hasan Basri who is has been known online for his beautiful Quran recitation.


Since 2005, BIT Group Sdn Bhd has helped to develop Pondok Tahfidzul Quran Ar-Raudhah, Medan, to help orphaned kids and children from poverty-ridden families. We helped to establish this tahfiz school from a small house into later having its own building near Kuala Namu airport in 2007. BIT Group and Yayasan Arraudhah are committed to continue helping them alongside the other tahfiz schools in Acheh, Cambodia and Kelantan.
