Our 25 Years of Digital Adventure with You, Driven by the Future
It’s been a busy year for us — getting ready with new digital infrastructure, developing lines of digital applications for the new community focus and cultivating our new online presence.
This is our story of journeys we are taking in embracing technology with our 3-Year Strategic Transformation Plan (2017 – 2019).
Our Early Years
BIT Group started as a start-up business, Business Information Technology Sdn Bhd, and today forming a group of companies. The Senior Management members are the faithful associates who were together with BIT founder; since day one of the establishment of the company.
As the company grow from focusing on information business management – we started with providing IT services such as Supply of ICT Hardware and Software, Integration Services, Managed Network Services, Managed Security Services, and Maintenance and Support Services.
We also grow from project-oriented into now product-focused. We are grateful for the experiences we went through, working as one of the earliest Malaysia’s information and IT companies, alongside talented staffs. 80% of our staffs are at least Bachelor and Master graduates.
Our Focus Now & Ahead
With the new strategy kicked in, the main focus for BIT in these three years and ahead is Muslim. We will mainly focus our product segments in:
- Digital Finance
- Digital Health
- Digital Community
We have developed a comprehensive suite of Sharia-compliant based software solutions to address the growing needs of Muslims. It all started with eDental, a project-based dental application tendered by a client in 2008. The second software application we developed for the community is eFARAID – a digital inheritance calculator and database.
Other than these three digital product segments, we at BIT is also excited to embark our journey into cloud service infrastructure and blockchain.
We aim to offer cloud service ito support our digital product segments. That way, we hope it can promote easier access and control of the digital products. Our blockchain is our cornerstone too – it has been thrilling adventure in developing this new technology.
Gratefully, we continue to grow and start to provide an integrated system service for our clients and soon, approaching Year 2020, we are venturing into digital business. We are proud to be one of the key providers in Malaysia towards embracing and linking the nine pillars of industry 4.0, underlined by Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC).
Throughout this new transformation too, we pledged to work closer with the customer and clients to understand the problem better. We also work hard to revamp our content to improve our presence online – you can just Google and click more to know about us.
2019 has been our last year throughout this new transformation in spearheading the digital nation.

Brand new corporate branding and new headquarters office building in Cyberjaya.

Awarded the SME 100 Fast Moving Companies in Malaysia
2009
ISO/IEC 20000 Certified.
2005
First 5-Year Strategic Plan – BIT2010 was unveiled. New vision and mission statement established.

First nationwide implementation project
A breakthrough into Malaysian Government sector in MSC flagship project worth RM5million. Was awarded the contract to implement the network infrastructure for the flagship project, MSC Telehealth Project

Launched BIT 3-Year Strategic Plan – BIT Digital 2020. New vision and mission statements established. The elementals are to align with IR4.0 technologies
2014
New engineering building
New engineering office building for Ennova Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam. Ennova is the first department of BIT Group that was spun-off from the group.
2010
Breakthrough into Healthcare sector
Awarded an Outsourcing and Maintenance of Hospital Information System for Hospital Pekan, Pahang. Contract was awarded by Ministry of Health Malaysia..
2007
Breakthrough into Telco industry
Established partnership with TM Malaysia, the no. 1 telco provider in Malaysia.
2002
Another breakthrough – became the ICT provider for Ministry of Defense (MinDef), a high profile ICT user of Malaysian Government sector. Won a contract to implement networking solution for all army camps.
1997
First national project
Awarded a RM1.4million project by KLIA, to implement Passenger Check-in Processing System (PCPS). This was a major milestone for the company in term of the size of the project and exposure. Recognition by global technology provider, CISCO – became the Certified Premier Partner. More prestige global technology providers in line, including Certified MICROSOFT Partner.
